A man nearly met his maker over a $2 scuffle with a hooker.
Passmore Marufu was pushed off a third floor apartment by Abigail Chingwaru (28), popularly known as Doshto in the Avenues area and landed on a balcony after he failed to pay $2 more from what he had been charged for sex.
The self-confessed hooker was yesterday arrested for the heinous act.
Marufu was heard yelling by residents at Hamilton Flat who quickly rushed to block Doshto from fleeing in her Toyota Wish (registration AEM 8192) Her accomplices Susan and Angie took to their heels and left the scene.
“We heard a scuffle at around 6am and later the noise faded and we thought that mdara auraiwa because these ladies are merciless and many men are being extorted daily,” said one of the residents.
The name Doshto is known by hookers after she made a series of extortion cases and has boasted of using juju to see off her criminal cases.
“Wese murume anopinda mumba maDoshto it’s either he leaves penniless or bleeding and she wins her cases all the time,” said one of the self-confessed hookers who plies her trade along Third Street.
Doshto told H-Metro that Marufu wanted to commit suicide after he failed to raise $2 to pay Angie who gave him a ‘morning glory’.
“Handisirini ndamusandudzira azvikanda ega achidakutiza kubhadhara mari yemusikana wandinogara naye waakecha akamuchaja $2 ndokubva azomuwedzera imwe $2 dollars akaishaya,” said Doshto.
Doshto said she did not know the names of the girls who fled although they lived in her apartment.
“They are here to hook men for sex and pay daily rentals to me as their landlady but I don’t know them,” said Doshto as residents called her names shouting that she was a liar who was always terrorising men they hooked for sex.
Another source witnessed Doshto and her accomplices searching Marufu’s parked Isuzu vehicle registration (ADL 6234) before getting into her Toyota Wish which was blocked by residents.
“Many clients leave the apartment in sorry states with their vehicles having been searched and stripped of valuables,” the source said.
Residents called an ambulance and police who took Marufu to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals.
Doshto was taken to Harare Central Police Station as people jostled to take her pictures.
Abigail initially lied that her name was Tracy.
