Movie stars Gbenro Ajibade and Rahama Sadau have been unveiled as the hosts of the upcoming Best of Nollywood (BON) awards which is set to hold in December in Abeokuta.
According to Seun Oloketuyi, executive producer of BON, the two stars were chosen because of their diversity, versatility and youth. He added that “not only do they have the requisite physical demands for such an assignment, they surely do possess the intellectual gravitas to steer it to a safe habour.”
The nominee list for the 2017 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards has been released.
This year over 120 films were screened, including 113 feature films, 7 short films and two TV series. According to the BON team, eight others were disqualified for various reasons.
