This unique event is scheduled to hold this Easter Sunday April 16th 2017, at Freedom Park, from 3:00pm in the company of our esteemed fans worldwide. This edition is a unique fusion of Sakara Music progenitors and inheritors”
Hakeem explained further that, “this event will showcase the rich content and entertainment inherent in the Sakara Music genre and the need to keep celebrating it as part of our unique selling proposition as a nation blessed with deep rooted entertainment via unique music genre pioneered by Nigerians and owned by Nigerians. This high-octane event will feature live performances by the major Sakara Music inheritors such as Jamiu Lefty Balogun, the son of late Lefty Salami Balogun; Wasiu Oseni Ejire, the son of late Oseni Ejire (omo olofin) and Abideen Yusuf Olatunji, the grandson of late Yusuf Olatunji (Baba L’egba). It will also feature other high profile ‘rob-the-mic’ performances by avid Sakara music lovers and other side attractions, so it promises to be entertainment galore“.
