AFTER holding successive editions, organisers of the Lagos Cocktail Week have announced that the show will return this month, bigger and better.
Making the announcement Last Tuesday at Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja, CEO of Eventi Cocktails, Lara Rawa said that the programme, which will run from October 16 to 21, was established to showcase the best of Nigeria’s cocktail culture with the inspiration for the cocktail industry at large to be recognized as an integral aspect of the Nigerian beverage industry.
This festival, she said, can also be described as a gathering of cocktail enthusiasts as beverage brands and lovers of great cocktails and mocktails alike to get to indulge their taste buds at designated hubs.
According to Rawa, “Lagos Cocktail Week has signed up selected partnering bars that will offer signature cocktails at a discount to anyone with the festival tickets. In order to take advantage of the promotions and offers happening during the weeklong event, participants will be required to purchase wristbands online.”
She said that the 2017 Lagos Cocktail Week will officially kickoff with a seminar and workshop on October 16.
“One of the new features of this year, which is also a major highlight, is the partnership with Culinary Academy to introduce a garnish course,” she said.
Venues for the weeklong activities are The Wheatbaker Hotel, Liquid Hub, Ikoyi, Culinary Academy, as well as Bar Hop.
