“We see this fruition of the long awaited expectation of a new dawn in Nigeria, for this day did not come so easy, it is date full of intriguing episodes viz; wanton killings, corruption fields, unbroken feasts of unbearable pains and agony.
“More so, all this were meted on Nigerians, all of whom expressed their suffrage franchise rights to vote on the mantra of “Hope 93” for their choice candidates, which saw MKO Abiola as the undeclared winner.
“We believe, this day needs to respected and referred with great patriotism and sober reflection as a valued date of reckoning, synonymous with hope, freedom and enthronement of social justice rights, rule of law and real formation of democratic constitutional nation.
“However, for reasons best known to IBB, which proves extremely unacceptable to the generality of Nigerians and world over, over the illegal and Gestapo style annulment.
“For he-iBB will forever be haunted by the Spirit of the dead and homicide of innocent souls; Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, Alfred Rewani to mention a few amongst others were all victims of evil circumstances, they were gruesomely killed under the draconian firepower guns and bombs of the military Juntas.”
