Everything is becoming clearer that the former vice president of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar GCON will be addressing the Nigerians in diaspora and the entire Africa nations in South Africa. This was made known by the Chairman of ATIKUNATION SOUTH AFRICA, Engr. Funsho Ademoye, when he was briefing the press in Pretoria after his return from Nigeria
Engr. Ademoye, through his Secretary Mr. Rotimi Iyanda, said that the outcome of the meeting held in October with the Peoples Democratic Party South Africa (PDP-SA) and other diaspora support groups necessitate the need for all to work together and make Nigeria work again.a.
At the meeting held in Randburg together with other diaspora support groups before Engr. Ademoye travelled to Nigeria, the Peoples Democratic Party, South Africa Chairman, Mr. Ekos Akpokabayen reiterated that his party’s support for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was based on the fact that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a seasoned politician who possesses the needed maturity and patience and wisdom to keep the country united.
He said further that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar believes in restructuring of the country and has respect for the rule of law which will in turn bring about fairness and justice to all citizens. He pointed out that his political manifestos for 2019 necessitated the importance of his address at South Africa Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) scheduled for November 28th, 2018 in Johannesburg.
Addressing the journalists, Engr. Ademoye said that the rate of unemployment and poverty in Nigeria now is very worrisome. He also acknowledged the reality that Nigeria needs a leader that can salvage her economy from the brink of being collapsed. He said that Buhari administration has failed Nigerians woefully and that Nigeria deserves more than what the country is presently getting from Buhari’s administration. He said that all these and many more are the concerns of the Nigerians both at home and in diaspora as Nigeria’s current affair is not only having negative impact on Nigeria as a country, but on the entirety of Africa continent.
Engr. Ademoye, who was supposed to meet again with Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD) in his Abuja office, said that he held various meetings with different organizations, interest groups and individuals towards good governance and exemplary leadership in Africa – starting from Nigeria.
He also made out time to visit Atiku Political Campaign Office in Abuja where he had meeting with the Deputy Director Support Groups – Mr. Ola Fabiyi. He also had meeting with Barrister Dayo Ogunjebe, who also is the Federal House of Representatives PDP candidate representing Mushin Constituency1; and Atikunation ICG Director General, Honourable Fateema Muhammed amongst others.
Engr Funsho Ademoye who is also the Coordinator of Africa Disapora Mobilisation Movement (ADMM) said  that the experience of Africa citizens in diaspora is raising their interests in ensuring good governments across Africans nation is installed in their different countries of origin.
