In another commendable stride, one of Africa’s most celebrated businessmen and Chairman of Heirs Holdings, Tony Elumelu, Lagos first class king, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III), First Lady of Kwara State, Her Excellency, Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed, former Ogun State Commissioner for Sports, Bukola Olopade and top businessman and socialite, Rotimi Ajanaku have all endowed different categories of the 2018 edition of BON Awards; marked on the calendar to happen Saturday, December 8, in the city of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital.
Elumelu, according to a statement signed by the Executive Producer of BON Awards, Seun Oloketuyi, has endowed ‘Movie Of The Year’ category; consequently, the category would be named ‘Tony Elumelu Best Movie Of The Year’.
In the same development, Lagos Youngest King, and highly revered royal father, Oba Elegushi, has also endowed ‘The Best Actor Of The Year (Yoruba)’, as a result, the category will now be customized ‘Oba Elegushi Best Actor of the year’.
The category that rewards best movie with social message, according to Oloketuyi, has been endowed by the amiable first lady of Kwara State, Dcness. Ahmed; that category will be announced as; “Omolewa Ahmed Movie With Best Social Message’.
Olopade, also has thrown his weight behind movie with best editing. The category will be announced as ‘Yetunde Olopade Movie with Best Editing’, in honor of Bukky’s wife.
The category that puts a cape on the finest female actor, Best Actress In a Movie, has been endowed by Romiti Ajanaku, by implication, the category will be announced as ‘Rotimi Ajanaku Best Actress In a Movie’.
The Best of Nollywood Awards 2018, marks the 10th year of consist reward of outstanding filmmakers in Nollywood by Best Of Nollywood Ventures, the company that presents the award ceremony. This year’s edition will be hosted by His Excellency, Senator Abiola Ajimobi Governor of Oyo State.
