Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has expressed shock on the news of the death of the immediate past Majority Leader of the Ogun House of Assembly, Hon Yinka Mafe.
In his condolence message, Otunba Daniel described the former legislator as a promising young politician who served his Constituency to the best of his capacities.
“I am particularly saddened by the demise of such a young politician. It is difficult to understand why such tragedies happen but we are consoled by his modest achievements while alive”, part of the statement read.
“His death no doubt is untimely and his Constituents in Sagamu will surely miss him; I pray to God Almighty to grant him eternal rest, provide comfort for the Mafe family and grant those who shared in the grief the fortitude to bear the loss”, Daniel stated.
