The Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has said that he has not concluded on the new platform with which he would seek re-election for a second term in office.
In an announcement, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Mr. Crusoe Osagie, said the senator is pre-busy with the coronavirus (COVID-19) challenge, which is attacking the world everywhere and Nigeria specifically, encouraging the individuals to submit to government’s orders to end the spread of the infection.
As per him, “We host not moved to any gathering yet, despite the fact that we are in converses with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The choice we will in the long run take will be to the greatest advantage of Edo individuals and our supporters.
“Meanwhile, our significant spotlight is on overseeing and containing the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has caused the demise of several Nigerians and is extending our human services framework as far as possible.
“We approach Edo individuals to hold fast to the guidelines emplaced to contain the infection by the State, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) and different organizations of the Federal Government.”
