Atleast Two People Gunned Down By ‘Active shooter wearing doctor’s coat’ inside New York hospital

Several people have been shot inside a New York hospital where an ‘active shooter’ is reportedly on the loose.
The NYPD said multiple people have been injured at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
The gunman was seen wearing a white coat resembling a doctor’s coat, NBC New York reported.
It is not clear at this stage if anyone has been killed.

Armed police have been sent to the hospital, which has been placed on lockdown, according to NBC New York.
Officers could be seen on the roof of the building with their guns drawn.
The gunman is a former employee of the hospital, police told CBS’ Reena Roy.
It is believed the suspect has barricaded himself into a room in the hospital and has a rifle.
