The Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the burial arrangements for the late First Lady, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, with ceremonies beginning on 20th November 2024, culminating in a funeral on 29th November in Nsit Ubium.
The family of the late First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, **Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno**, has formally announced her funeral arrangements, with final rites planned for **29th November 2024** at her family home in **Ikot Ekpene Udo, Nsit Ubium Local Government Area**.
Pastor Eno, known for her commitment to faith and community, passed away on **26th September 2024**.

Her husband, **Governor Umo Eno**, along with the family and Akwa Ibom State Government, finalised these plans to honour her impactful life and lasting legacy.
The **Secretary to the State Government and Central Planning Committee Chairman, Enobong Uwah**, conveyed the family’s deep gratitude for the overwhelming support from across Nigeria. “We are profoundly thankful for the comforting words, prayers, and tributes,” he said.
The memorial events will begin on **20th November 2024** with the opening of a **Mourning House**. From 22nd November, a **Night of Worship and Tributes** will take place at the International Christian Worship Centre in Uyo, featuring songs and messages from those whose lives Pastor Patience Eno touched.
Dr. Frank Ekpenyong, SSA-ICT, noted, “Her Excellency was a beacon of hope; this evening of worship is a testament to her impact on countless lives.”
A week-long series of condolence visits will continue through **26th November**, offering loved ones and well-wishers the chance to remember Pastor Eno’s compassionate spirit and dedication to service.
Governor Eno, in a heartfelt tribute, reflected, “My wife was my partner and a pillar of strength for our family and Akwa Ibom people. Her compassion and devotion were unmatched.”
