Governor Rauf Aregbesola met stiff opposition over his description of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s economic tactics on Twitter.
The Governor had on Twitter accused Jonathan of enriching the pockets of some selected Nigerians during his regime when respondents tackled his ongoing administration in Osun State.
A survey of replies of the post showed that majority of the Governor’s followers were not in tune with his commendation of Buhari against Jonathan’s economic tactics.
Few of the respondent who supported the Governor believed that those lamenting against Buhari’s economic tactics needed to be patient enough for the President’s plan to germinate.
The Governor said: “Jonathanomics is what I describe as an effort to enrich some selected pockets at the detriment of the masses while Buharinomics is the effort of a government to use little available resources to better the lives of the masses #MeetOgbeni.”
Reacting, some of the Governor’s followers alleged him of not doing enough to better the lives of residents of Osun State.

“My life hasn’t been better since Buhari assumed office,” Michael Senkale @mickytrio007 added.
@SegunAndrews said: “How? I dare you to give one policy-driven (Buharinomics) economic indicator that improved now compared to where it stood in May 2015?”
Komolafe Oluwabusuyi @busuyikomo said: Aregbenomics : to be so shameless and boast of paying workers half salary.”
“You really should not be vocal on Twitter Sir. Not after your Opon Imo project. You won’t get nice responses. Thank me later for this advice,” Nkem4eva @nwaegbe_nkem advised.
