It is no news that yesterday evening, a woman jumped into the Lagos Lagoon from the Third Mainland Bridge.
The woman was alleged to have parked her sports utility vehicle, a black Ford explorer, with registration number APP 190CE, inward Maryland, Ikeja, crossed over to the other side of the road, and jumped into the lagoon.
Another account said the woman was in an Uber taxi and she had ordered the driver to stop after which she allegedly crossed to the other side and jumped straight into the lagoon.
Now, facts are now emerging that the woman that committed suicide yesterday was indeed a US based woman who decided to end her life because an extra marital affair she was exposed and rude photos shared by her lover.
The deceased woman’s husband, who allegedly works or worked with Access Bank, took their three kids for DNA test immediately the illicit photos surfaced online and found out that none were his.
Unconfirmed reports had it that she committed suicide over the shame.
Toyin, as the name given, lived in Texas, with her husband, Tunde.
The full gist was that she got involved with another man in Nigeria and they both got involved in series of adulterous activities.
But her lover, an older guy, collected over N10m from her, which he refused to pay back. This made the latter called police on the former to arrest him.
The loverman claimed they were actually lovers and shared those incriminating pictures to prove he was not a fraudster that whatever happened between them was consensual!
The blackmail from the man got to her husband and this compelled the husband to conduct a DNA test on all his three children which later turned out that they are not all his kids after all.
On Saturday, 9th of June, 2018, the woman drove her truck to the bridge, parked her Ford SUV van on the 3rd Mainland Bridge and jumped inside the lagoon on a suicide mission which is a resultant effect of the blackmail.
