Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, July 9, held a closed-door meeting with the immediate past Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Nation reports that Melee Kolo Kyari, who took over from Baru recently, was at the meeting which started around 11.30 am at the president’s office.
It was learnt that Baru and Kyari arrived at the Presidential Villa early enough for the meeting.
Before taking up the new appointment, Kyari was group general manager in charge of crude oil marketing division of the NNPC.
