Cheerleader teacher, 23, arrested for ‘having sex with teen pupil at school’

A MARRIED cheerleading coach has been arrested over claims she had sex with a 17-year-old student.

Katherine Ross Ridenhour, 23, is accused of romping with the male pupil on school grounds at Cox Mill High School in North Carolina.

The teacher has been charged with two counts of indecent liberties with a student after cops learned of the alleged consensual relationship.
Ridenhour was the school’s junior varsity cheerleading head coach and worked as a home economics teacher.
She resigned from her post on Tuesday, Cabarrus County Schools said.
According to cops, Ridenhour and the student had “inappropriate contact” several times over the last month while at the school, Fox46 reported.

Police also said the teen was old enough to consent but Ridenhour was charged because he is a student ans she’s in a position of authority.
According to local media, Ridenhour married husband Tyler in 2015 and had only graduated from university last year.
She faces a maximum 12 month sentence on each charge if convicted.
