Kano State governÂment, under the leadership of GovÂernor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has banned all forms of celebrations during the forth-coming Eid-el-Kabir as part of meaÂsures to prevent spread of COVID-19 across the state. Commissioner for InforÂmation, Comrade MuhamÂmad Garba, in a statement said the Eid prayers would be carried out on strict compliÂance to laid down protocols.
Garba further stated that all the Emirs of the four Emirate Councils of Gaya, Karaye, Bichi and Rano, would carry out the prayers at their councils.
