A dad has appeared in court charged with the murder of his nine-week-old baby girl.
Aria Ring was found in a “seriously ill condition” at a home in Crabble, Dover, on January 7.
James Ring, 21, of Yew Tree Close in Chatham, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court charged with murder and unlawful killing.
His daughter Aria was taken to a hospital in Kent on January 7.
The nine-week-old was then transferred to a London hospital, tragically dying two days later.
The Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate investigated the case, today charging Ring with murder.
The 21-year-old, who is formerly from the Crabble area and had been bailed to an address in the North Kent area, was remanded in custody.
Ring appeared at Maidstone Crown Court via video link charged with murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear at the same court on January 5.
