Dr. Iwuajoku said he thought the minister wanted to travel to Abuja when he saw Fashola on the flight manifest but unknowing to him, it was a bunch of useless people (referring to Naira Marley and his crew).
He apologized to the minister for the grave mistake, saying it will never happen again.
The minister on Monday evening suspended the Executive Jets Service Immediately for transporting Naira Marley and his crew from Lagos to Abuja for a concert despite Interstate lockdown and ban on public gatherings by the government.
The singer’s action has elicited heat reactions from Nigerians for the past two days.
Naira Marley has also responded to the letter written by Dr. Iwuajoku, he said the chairman knew he was the one on board before the jet took off. He also said his younger brother whose name is Babatunde Fashola was also on board.
Naira Marley said he and his thousand fans will not use the airline company anymore because Dr. Iwuajoku referred to them as a bunch of useless people.
