So much fun as Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu showed up today at Small London in Shitta, the popular Surulere neighborhood where a food outreach programme aimed at bringing succour to the vulnerable was on. The visit was unannounced. Governor made this known during a visit to the popular Small London, a community in Shitta, Surulere on Monday, 3 January 2022.
The initiative is part of the BOS Christmas initiative which the Givernor launched at Yuletide.It is targed to reach 30,000 in 7days days across 30 communities.
The programme is part of a series of outreach programmes which in various LGAs.
The initiative is being organised in partnership with grassroots partners,such as the Lagos Food Bank Initiative, Ofada Boy, Dreams from the Slum, and Lighted Pearl Africa Foundation.
Residents of communities in Makoko, Aiyetoro, Ajegunle, Shitta, Iponri, Lekki, amongst 30 others, will benefit from the week -long programme designed to help the needy and spread happiness to a greater number of vulnerable citizens.
