AN ex-porn model acted as a human trafficker and pimped out an underage 16-year-old for sex work, it is alleged.
Thai former Maxim covergirl Alisa Jaidee, 32, was charged yesterday after undercover police said she sent them dozens of pictures of different young women being touted as prostitutes.
One of those offered was just 16 years old – two years below the age of consent in Thailand.
Jaidee arranged for the policeman to pay £340 for sex with the girl at a hotel.
The sick arrangement had been organised on messaging app Line, they added.
But the model was arrested as she stepped off a flight at Suvarnabumi Airport in Bangkok yesterday afternoon.
Deputy Chief of Staff Major General Suntiyit Tavorn said Jaidee was ‘’uncooperative’’ and initially tried to throw away her phone after feigning sickness to go to the toilet.
He said: ”The investigation found that the accused had a clear role in the activity. She was involved in the division of funds for the purchase of sexual services.”
Police superintendent Colonel Kampol Rattanapratheep said that because the victim was under 18 Jaidee could be charged with trafficking.
He said persecutors had also charged her with ”procuring a girl aged under 18 for a sex service and promoting an underage girl’s lewd act for payment or other benefits’’.
Jaidee was model in Maxim magazine as well as other publications in Asia where she posed nude.
She most recently worked as a lingerie model, performing in online shows and at event promotions.
