The Jigawa state governor Mohammadu Badaru Abubakar on Tuesday dissolved his cabinet as his second term expires tomorrow.
The state Commissioner for Information, Bala Ibrahim Mamser, made the announcement in Dutse.
He said the dissolution of the cabinet was effected after the governor had a valedictory session with the outgoing members of his cabinet at Jigawa government house.
Mamser further stated that all political appointees that includes Secretary to the State Government, Specisl Advisers, Senior Special Assistants and chairmen of boards and agencies, were also dissolved.
According to him, all the outgoing commissioners were directed to handover the affairs of their respective ministries to their permanent secretaries.
