If the report reaching us is anything to go by, Air Peace, a local airline may be battling bad marketing at the moment as one of its planes crashlanded in Lagos.
Air Peace is a private Nigerian airline founded in 2013 with its head office in Lagos State, Nigeria. Air Peace, which provides passenger and charter services, serves the major cities of Nigeria.
According to Enquirer Magazine reports that an air mishap was Tuesday afternoon averted in Lagos when an Air Peace aircraft flying from Port-Harcourt to Lagos crashlanded at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
The passenger plane, B737, it was gathered, managed to crash land after dropping 20 feet above sea level into the Lagos airport runway causing substantial damage to the plane’s front wheel as a result of its burst tyres.
“For divine intervention, passengers onboard escaped unhurt as the airplane got damaged seriously.
The forceful landing led to the burst of its front tyre. As at the time of filing this report, the Accident Investigation Bureau are inspecting the accident,” the report reads.
