Festus Keyamo SAN, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment on Wednesday said the All Progressives Congress (APC) has no politician that can be referred to as the overall leader of the party in the state.
Some members of the party in the state had claimed that Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, by virtue of his position as Deputy Senate President is the political leader of the party in the state.
However, speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Keyamo who said he is also a leader by virtue of his position. said there are different leaders in the state that lead different tendencies within the party.
According to him, the different APC leaders in the state have not met to adopt anyone as the central leader of the party in the state.
“Because of the unique history of the evolution of the party in the State, there are different leaders in the State that lead to different tendencies within the Party.
“These different leaders have not met at any time to adopt anyone as the central leader of the Party in the State,” Keyamo said.
