Labour Party’s governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has described comedian Seyi Law as a vile and dishonest person who spreads falsehood, hate and bigotry following a claim the comedian made.
Gbadebo said this in reaction to Seyi Law stating that the Labour Party governorship candidate threatened to make traditional rulers “go under the bridge” if he won the 2023 governorship election in Lagos state.
Gbadebo shared a video in which he promised to restore the authority of traditional rulers which he claimed was undermined by colonisers and adopted by subsequent governments.
According to him, restoring authority of traditional rulers gives them the power to act without getting clearance from state governments.
