The Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs. Toke Benson-Awoyinka, on Tuesday, received Lagos Tourism Ambassador Pelumi Nubi on a courtesy visit to her office.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss her plans to further showcase Lagos as a prime travel destination, especially as her remarkable journey from London to Lagos by road reaches its one-year milestone. With this anniversary, Pelumi is also looking to give back in a meaningful way, and the Lagos State Government is keen to support her efforts.
Recall that Pelumi Nubi, a young Nigerian Travel and content creator , made history last year with her solo road trip from London to Lagos in April , a feat that earned her recognition from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who later appointed her a Lagos Tourism Ambassador.

Her journey, filled with adventure and resilience, has placed Lagos on the global travel map, and as she plans her next steps, the State remains committed to leveraging such inspiring stories to further promote tourism, adventure, and cultural experiences in Lagos.
