Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to a list of looters published by the Federal Government on Friday.
According to Fani-Kayode, the names of President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Transport Minister, Rotimi Amaechi and other leaders in the All Progressives Congress (APC) were missing.
He said in a chat: “No list of so-called looters is complete without the names of Muhammadu Buhari, Yemi Osinbajo, Rotimi Amaechi and all the other APC leaders on it. They are not only thieves but they invented the art of corruption. They are corrupt in body, spirit and soul.
“They have stolen and misappropriated vast sums of money from the Nigerian state and they have snuffed out and destroyed many lives.
“When we get them out of power and take over, we will open the books, expose them for what they are and each and everyone of them will suffer the consequences of their unprecedented graft and monstrous larceny.
“One day, Nigerians will learn that Buhari is not an angel but a devil and that his entire government and team is infested with demons and incorrigible rogues.”
The names in the list revealed by the Federal Government included PDP chieftains, who are currently being tried for alleged financial crimes.
“The PDP has challenged us to name the looters under their watch. They said they did not loot the treasury. Well, I am sure they know that the treasury was looted dry under their watch. Yet, they decided to grandstand. This shows the hollowness of their apology,” Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed said as he released the names.
