The whole of Anambra stood still recently as a mammoth crowd witnessed the groundbreaking unveiling of “De Seeker Reality Show”, at the Bettles Extra Lounge Awka.
The reality show which is set to kick off soon is a first of its kind in Nigeria and Africa at large and will tap into the massive unattended talent reserve of Nigeria. It will scout for young Nigerians who are unique in their areas of specialty, be it singing, dancing, dangerous stunts, chess mastery, cooking, mathematics or science genius, architectural or engineering genius.
Any young Nigerian who has found an exceptional or unique way of solving problems, is eligible to apply for the auditions of this show.
The project is proposed to be broadcast on many TV stations, social media platforms, and streaming channels. It will feature highly competitive and intellectual activities such as weekly talent contests/hunt, fashion exhibition/runway, drama competitions, fitness contests, and endless tasks, aimed at bringing out the best in the contestants.
They will be engaged in different forms of activities, geared towards refining their individual talents and molding them into better persons and purpose-driven leaders of tomorrow, in Africa.
De Seeker project is slated to have an audience that spans across the big players in the talent industry, especially the various artistes who create musical, visual, and comical contents, also, audience from the corporate community, where organizations and corporations will be engaged to pay more attention towards sponsoring and grooming young talents in Nigeria, as well as reality show lovers and the large pool of social media users and influencers.

Expressing his joy, the project convener, Barr. Anthony Agbasiere A.K.A Celebrity Barrister said, “today, we are flagging off this project and we decided that we will not start something of this nature, without beginning from home, that is, Anambra State. We will still do press conferences in Lagos, and Abuja, but we deemed it fit to begin from our own doorsteps”.
The unveiling event which had not less than 20,000 spectators in attendance, excluding the dignitaries and A-list artistes, comedians, performers, raised the roof with explosive, crowd-raving performances from top Nigerian entertainers like Prince Neche, Unku SP, Ezegetive, Ogbuefi I GO TUK, Mallam Dagogo, and Lord Zeus, Apama, Blackalbino, Mr Tee, Diamond Okechi, Slowdogg, Sir One on One (Woman Leader), Prophet Rolex, Mr. Raw, Humblesmith, Anyidons, and Kcee Limpopo.
