Ibrahim Shu’aibu, a Nigerian playing in Norwegian Premier League with FC Haugesund, revealed to Metro News NG in a telephone chart.
Shu’aibu, who score 10 goals this season for his club in Norway, is one time second highest goal scorer in Nigerian Premier League (NPFL) while playing with Giwa FC (2012/2013).
He said: ” For me, i can say playing in Norway is of great advantage. Playing in a snowfall area is very difficult but now i become part of it.
The club lose one game to qualify for 2017/2018 Europa League.
Shu’aibu believe that when give an opportunity to wear national Jersey, he will contributes in building the team with his multiple experiences by playing both in home league and abroad.
“Every player in Super Eagle has his own style and talents that can help in building a strong national team. When given chance, i can prove myself.”
Shu’aibu, who insisted on home base coach, believe that Super Eagles would restore their name as Giant of Africa under home based coach.
Shu’aibu play in Gurara FC Kafanchan, Nasarawa FC Kebbi State, Kano Pillars, Jos Academy, Wikki Tourist and Giwa FC before joining Norwegian division one league.
