For months, Edo has been in the center of indecision, going back and forth, leaving the elctorate indecisive.
Today, I stand before you to reinstate the obvious. That Elections are never a do-or-die affair. Election is only a decision making process. A Decision borne out of the innate desire for change or continuity. In this case, Edo state desires continuity, having see the obvious progress in the Obaseki led administration.
As we proceed to the poll on Saturday 19th September, 2020, I want to urge the people of Edo state to maintain peace as they cast their votes for His Excellency, Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
Let’s Desist from violent activities as you play your part in making Edo a great state. Do not sell your vote for any reason. Selling your vote is like selling your conscience, this stops you from having a voice when things go south. Stand against godfatherism in all its form
The power to make the state great lies in your hands and that is your voters card, use it wisely, so you can proudly say that you did your part and you did it well.
I urge you all to maintain peace and order while you perform your duties as true people of Edo. Vote and see that your vote counts.
Vote for PDP, Vote Godwin Obaseki
On behalf of the Atikunation, I wish the people of Edo state a smooth election and a favourable outcome at the polls.
With Obaseki, Edo will be great again.
Fateema Mohammed-Ogunkola
Director General, Atikunation.
