Pastor Tobi Adegboyega, the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), has revealed that his church operates without collecting tithes and offerings.
Speaking during an interview on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Adegboyega shared insights into the financial model that sustains his church, attributing its success to business ventures and company management rather than traditional church fundraising methods.

The flamboyant pastor, known for his high-profile outreach in the United Kingdom, disclosed that his income primarily comes from his business activities, including managing companies in the UK.
He explained, “I have brought people from prisons and made them multi-millionaires, and the testimonies are public. I have raised people who became CEOs of black corporations in the UK.”
In a surprising revelation, Adegboyega stated that SPAC Nation does not rely on tithes and offerings to fund its operations. Instead, the church focuses on growing businesses and investing in small enterprises.
“We invest in little businesses and watch them grow, that is what sustains us here,” he said.
Adegboyega’s approach is centered around empowering individuals and communities. He emphasized his belief in investing in people rather than accumulating wealth.
“I’m not a person that believes in wealth, I believe in people,” he said, underscoring his commitment to nurturing successful entrepreneurs and business leaders.
As part of his efforts, Adegboyega revealed that SPAC Nation has supported over 250 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria, providing them with one million naira each over the past two years.
These businesses are reported to be thriving, and Adegboyega is proud of the impact his church has had on the entrepreneurial landscape.
The pastor’s stance on church finances challenges traditional views that churches must rely on tithes and offerings to fund their activities.
Adegboyega’s model, which prioritises business investment and the development of individuals, aligns with his wider vision of empowering people and fostering economic growth.
By focusing on growing businesses rather than seeking donations, SPAC Nation demonstrates a self-sustaining approach that could inspire other churches looking to create a lasting impact in their communities.
Through his efforts in business and community development, Pastor Tobi Adegboyega has created a church model that emphasizes financial independence, entrepreneurial spirit, and a commitment to uplifting others.
This unique approach to church sustainability is set to redefine how religious organisations can operate in the modern world.
