After a lull of a few months, during which Nigerian security agencies breathed an air of relief, there are incontrovertible indications that the clandestine Radio Biafra will resume activities Sunday November.
The rogue radio station is the mouth piece of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Kanu whose whereabouts is unknown following a clamp down on his family home in Abia state by the military under operation Python Dance.
THEWILL gathered exclusively that the radio will continue to broadcast from London, England, ostensibly to escape the reach of Nigeria’s security agencies who will track it down without much effort if it was based in Nigeria.
The information circulating within the IBOP circle recently has pointed to the feverish plans and concerted efforts to reactivate the Radio Biafra and make its voice heard again to prove that the despite the security agencies’ show of strength recently during the Operation Python Dance and the like, that IPOB is not as dead as it appears.
THEWILL checks further revealed that the broadcast will from Sunday be on air from 6 am to 7 am on 7240 KHZ, 41 meter-band, short wave and in the evenings from 8pm to 9pm on 11530 KHZ on 25 meter band.
