Alleged Girlfriend of the current Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr, Tracy Solomon has replied former English international John Fashanu for mouth-washing the Coach for not believing in the Nigerian based players.
According to her Facebook post on Thursday, the Miss Nigeria Football, Miss Africa Unique World Queen, Philanthropist and Breast Cancer Ambassador, Tracy Solomon who is known for her loyalty and aggressiveness towards anything that affects or concerns Rohr questioned the pride of John Fashanu.
Recall that the former Wimbledon forward told the media few days ago that Gernot Rohr has underperformed.
“I think Rohr has underachieved as the coach of Super Eagles,” the former Wimbledon forward began.
“What has he (Rohr) achieved, what has he won?
“That team is certainly not good enough to dominate African Football. We still have a lot of work to do to be the best in Africa. For now, we don’t have a team yet.”
“At the moment, this is one of the lowest times I have seen of the Super Eagles. I am sorry to say that, but I am not excited about the team now and I feel the coach is not doing enough with domestic players. Rohr should stay in Nigeria and develop our league players”
Fashanu continued: “lt amazes me anytime I hear Rohr saying that Nigerian league players are not good enough to play for Super Eagles.
“It is a shame that he could say that of a team that won the AFCON in 2013 with about nine home based players. A local boy [Sunday] Mba even scored the lone goal that won us the Cup,” Fashanu concluded.
In her response, she said
”Mr Fashau talking about Rohr.
A man that never find it a pride to wear the Nigeria jersey at his days choose England above Nigeria is trying to teach a FIFA license coach how to do his job.
My question to Mr Fashanu is DID NFF HIRE ROHR TO COACH OUR LEAGUE PLAYERS? (NPFL) OR HE IS HIRE TO COACH OUR SUPER EAGLES? Super eagles could not qualify for Afcon for 2 good tournament .please where’s fashanu at that time?
he is talking about 2013 glory. mr man super eagles where not fantastic to watch at that time, we where lucky to have won it. where are the likes of those players today. ” Tracy Solomon posted on her Facebook timeline
