– Bode George has spoken on his rift with former president Olusegun Obasanjo
– He said the devil caused the problem between him and the former president
– According to George, the rift between him and Obasanjo is over
The former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Olabode George, has accused the devil of fueling his problems with ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo.
George said what transpired between him and Obasanjo was caused by the devil who has however been put to shame. Speaking during a visit to the former president, George said the rift between himself and Obasanjo is over.
He said: “I have come to say thank you after visiting me last week. We have put the past behind and Baba will remain my leader forever.
“Only few can do that mind you. What happened between us is devil and the devil has been shamed. It is a solid reunion and I am very happy about it,” George noted.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Obasanjo had paid a historic visit to his former ally. It was gathered that Obasanjo made the visit to condole with George on the death of his son, Dipo, who died last May 9. During the visit George had hitherto attributed his political travails including his incarceration partly to Obasanjo while the duo were seen in the political terrain as sworn enemies.
