The Ibadan born music lover from childhood will cheerfully tell you “My passion for music brought me into entertainment, I was in the cultural group in my primary school days and JSS.” A passion that made him a household music and artist promoter of note.
From a humble family background, his philosophy about life is “Nobody will help you to get there, but they will all welcome you when you find your way there.” Hence his resolve to move to Lagos,the obvious entertainment hub in Africa. 10years ago, SIDOLART ENTERTAINMENT was born.
He started going into joint promotions with established clubs and lounges with strong passion for live bands. His experience had been a mix of the good and the bad,”I’m always in my happiest moment whenever I attain a new goal in life, my saddest moment was when I was under valued because I didn’t put cash on the table but intellectual properties only.”
Putting that bad experience behind him, after several sojourn in clubs and lounges both in Lagos Island and Mainland,he started his own venture “Lounge 15:08“ situated on Jobi Fele Way, Alausa Business District, behind MKO Gardens. The very popular lounge has played host to several top rated artistes and performers including those In diaspora.
Come 15th of this month, the lounge will be rolling out its drums to celebrate the 2nd year anniversary of the lounge which coincidentally is the birthday of the CEO. The top notch celebration will be on for 60hours !!! Yes you read it right, for 3 days from Friday to Sunday it is a mix of music, comedy, fashion parade, kegites gyration, talent hunt, disk jockeys and an award ceremony.
An excited Saheed told this medium that he is glad that God was faithful to him and his business ventures, “It can only be Allah, I am humbled by the grace of God on me, my family and business ventures. People are cautions to invest in entertainment but God made my venture successful as such I have him to thank. I will also be saying thank you to those who supported my dream and it the success story we are seeing today”
Asked what he would have been doing if not entertainment, he revealed that he would have either become an engineer or be working in an oil company.
Happily married to Tiwalade Latifat and blessed with 2 lovely boys . He had his primary,secondary education in Ibadan, HND ELECT/ELECT (The Polytechnic Ibadan), BSc DEMOGRAPHY & SOCIAL STATISTICS (Obafemi Awolowo University, ile-ife) He observed his NYSC in Calabar.
