Traffic Alert: Lagos Ibadan Expressway

Date: Friday 19 May 2017.
The command is witnessing traffic congestion between RCCG main gate and Mowe bus stop on Lagos-Ibadan section of the express and between FRSC office and Kara village near Sagamu on Ibadan-Lagos section.
The situation is as a result of a crash involving a Tanker carrying PMS that ran into road divider @ a diversion point in front of RCCG main gate. FRSC men are on the road ensuring flow of vehicles by creating alternative road.
Fire Service have been invited with the support of Julius Berger Plc. Motorists are advised to be patient and drive carefully. Alternative corridors via Ikorodu or Sagamu abeokuta Ota could be considered.
