The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos state chapter has vowed to put an end to the dominance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its National leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general elections.
Taofik Gani, the party’s Publicity Secretary disclosed this while responding to the statement by Alhaji Tunde Balogun, state chairman of the APC that Tinubu has the political sagacity to move Nigeria forward in 2023.
He said the PDP will win Lagos state to celebrate the birthday of Chief Olabode George, a former Deputy National chairman of the PDP who clocked 75 years few days ago.
“The PDP Lagos State chapter is quick to respond to the claim by the Lagos APC state chairman that their National leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is proper to be president of the country.”
“There shall not be any further electoral gain for APC in Lagos and the APC chieftains, particularly the National leader, shall all be retired politically in 2023”
“The Lagos PDP family has resolved to go all out for total victory in the 2023 elections to also celebrate the birthday of her prime leader, Atona Olabode George in that year” he said.
