The State Security Service (SSS) in the evening of Monday, August 5, announced that it would obey the ruling of a court that granted leave to Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN), to travel abroad for medical attention.<\/p>\n
Daily Nigerian reports that the SSS made its position known in a statement by its spokesperson, Peter Afunnaya.<\/p>\n
The secret security agency said it is in line with the service principles to comply with the order.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is to inform the public that the Department of State Services (DSS) has received the order granting Ibrahim EL-ZAKZAKY leave to travel to India for medical treatment.<\/p>\n
\u201cConsequently, the Service is liaising with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance.<\/p>\n
