Forty one Nigerian girls who were victims of human trafficking to Europe were on Monday  sent back to the country.<\/p><\/div>\n

\nThey arrived the Murtala Muhammed International Airport , Lagos
\naboard a Hercules C-130 military transport aircraft with registration
\nnumber Nigerian Air Force 913.<\/div>\n
\n
\n<\/a> <\/div>\n
\nThe aircraft landed at the Nigerian Air Force Hangar wing of the Lagos Airport at about 7. 50 pm.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nThe deportation of the girls, was a fall out of collaboration
\nbetween the Ministry of Defence, Nigerian Air Force, Office of the
\nSenior Assistant to the President on Diaspora, and the National Agency
\nfor the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) which evacuated
\nthe girls from Bamako, the Malian capital.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nSome of the young ladies scantily dressed were grumbling as they
\nwere photographed while alighting from the military transport aircraft.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nSpeaking in an interview, Senior Special Assistant to the President
\n on Diaspora, Abika Dabiri-Erewa said their evacuation was made possible
\n with assistance from the Chief of Defence  Staff, Nigerian Air Force,
\nNAPTIP and relevant agencies of government.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nDabiri-Erewa said their
\nreturn home was part of directive from President Buhari, who insisted
\nthat Nigerians stranded anywhere in te world should be assisted to
\nreturn home.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nShe urged the returnees to make the best use of their lives as there was nothing tangible they were doing in Mali.<\/div>\n

\nErewa said  there were many Nigerians that are stranded in Mali, who should be brought home.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
