Obaseki and his supporters had on Friday joined the party.<\/p>\n

The Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal-led PDP Governors\u2019 Forum wished Obaseki God\u2019s blessings and guidance as he subjects himself to the forthcoming primaries of the party.<\/p>\n

If Obaseki wins the primary election, the governors assured him of their support in his bid to get re-elected.<\/p>\n

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director-General of the PDP Governors\u2019 Forum, C.I.D Maduabum, in Abuja, on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The PDP governorship primary for Edo State is scheduled to hold on Thursday, June 25, 2020.<\/p>\n

Maduabum described Obaseki\u2019s entry into PDP as a homecoming to a democratic platform.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWe welcome you to the PDP Governors\u2019 Forum under the leadership of His Excellency, Rt. Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, CFR, and all other PDP Governors in the Forum.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour entry into the PDP family is a homecoming to a democratic platform that accommodates all Nigerians desirous of good governance, accountability, and deepening of democratic tenets.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PDP Governors welcome you to use the PDP as a vehicle to enthrone rapid economic, social, and infrastructural development of Edo State.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you subject yourself to the forthcoming primaries of the party, we wish you success and God\u2019s blessings and guidance.<\/p>\n
