The Lagos State Government, LASG, has directed all basic schools, including nursery, primary and secondary schools, in the state to resume for the 2023\/2024 academic session on Monday, September 4, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during a press briefing in Alausa on Monday, the Director General, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Mrs Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, said the resumption is in compliance with the 2023\/2024 Harmonised Academic School Calendar as approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Seriki-Ayeni urged all schools and school owners to ensure strict compliance with the resumption date \u201cfor the delivery of quality and sustainable education in Lagos State.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She added that parents and managements of schools across the state as well as the general public can access the harmonised school calendar via the agency\u2019s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She also urged proprietors and school administrators to ensure strict compliance with the Lagos State Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy as schools prepare for resumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
