Super Eagles and Leicester striker, Kelechi Iheanacho has been described as a “beast in the air” by teammate, goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
The Nigerian capped his man of the match performance with his first Premier league goal for Leicester on Saturday in the 4-1 defeat of West Brom.
And he has continued to receive plaudits since Saturday with his teammate Schmeichel describing him as a beast. He was singled out for praises even from his coaches and team mates and was voted man of the match despite that he spent less than 30 minutes in the match, scoring one of the goals and assisting another.
Taking to his twitter handle, Kasper Schmeichel, praised Iheanacho and called him the beast of the air after his powerfully nodded ball beat the West Brom goalkeeper for The Foxes’ third goal.
“Happy for my man @67Kelechi for his performance and great goal. You’re a beast in the air Great result today for us.”
